Everything Is Going To Be OK
Sometimes, someone says something that encapsulates how you feel, but in a different context.
This happened to us previously while listening to a Lex Fridman Podcast featuring Teddy Atlas. What Teddy Atlas said in the context of boxing, to us, applies to Freemasonry.
This happened to us again while listening to comedian Theo Von on YouTube.
Freemasonry is something we love, but it is also something that is experiencing challenges. It can be easy to, when facing challenges, become pessimistic about the future.
Pessimism is cancerous.
The first duty of every citizen is optimism towards his country and both the leadership and people therein.
The first duty of every Mason is optimism towards the Brotherhood, his Brethren, his Lodge, and his Jurisdiction.
Despite the challenges Freemasonry is facing, we are also coming-off of two amazing events (that we know about). January 19th, 2024 and January 20th, 2024 were two amazing days at Windsor Lodge №403 and the Windsor Masonic Temple.
The Grand Lodge of Texas also just completed its Annual Communication and, by all accounts, it was an amazing communication and placed Freemasonry on an excellent path in the great state of Texas!
So let’s be optimistic. Let’s be excited.
And, most of all, let’s keep working hard!
