FREEMASONRY INSIGHT
We Prompted AI To Draw Images About Freemasonry…Here’s What It Drew
As noted in our previous story:
- “Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact in our day-to-day lives seems to be growing faster and faster.
- We, at Square & Compass Promotions, are not nearly smart enough to understand the implications of this growth. We’re not even smart enough to understand exactly how AI works.
- We are, however, curious as to what these AI systems think [when prompted] of Freemasonry.”
In our previous story, we explore AI systems as large-language models or, more particularly, systems that produce text-based answers to questions like:
- What is Freemasonry?
- What are some of Freemasonry’s strengths and weaknesses?
- What do you think of Freemasonry? [and more]
In this story, we are exploring AI generated drawings in response to specific prompts. We used the AI drawing generator “Monet.”
Below, please find our prompts, as well as the resulting drawings or images.
We at Square & Compass Promotions think it is important to explore how AI systems respond to prompts related to Freemasonry because, it is very likely, that at least a certain percentage of potential applicants are using AI systems to ask questions about Freemasonry and then using the results to decide whether to pursue an application in Freemasonry.
This is similar to the practice of “googling” oneself.
I leave it up to the reader to decide…how accurately do you think the drawings below represent the masonic prompts. Let us know in the comments.
Prompt One: “Masonic Temple”
Prompt Two: “Windsor Masonic Temple”
Prompt Three: “Square & Compass Promotions”
Prompt Four: “Masonic”
Prompt Five: “Freemasons”
Prompt Six: “Freemasonry”
All Opinions Expressed Are Those of Square & Compass Promotions and the Guest(s), and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the Windsor Masonic Temple or any group.
